The additional opportunities and activities organized during AWTTE help participants get maximum exposure to both trade and public and set solid business interactions in a friendly and hospitable environment for a period that lasts much longer than the four exhibition days!
Each year since 2003, AWTTE hosts a guest country from the international tourism authorities who wish to gain distinguished commercial and public exposure. Guest countries have the privilege to host a traditional folkloric dinner, the stand at the entrance as well as space at the venue entrance for presenting a taste of their culture from handicrafts, traditional food, folklore, etc.
The guest countries were Qatar in 2005, Jordan in 2004 and Tunisia in 2003.
AWTTE tours are designed to reveal the historical, architectural and ecological treasures of Lebanon. Hosted Buyers and exhibitors have traveled to the famed cedars of Bsharreh, the ruins of Baalbek, the Bekaa valley and the South, as well as the bustling Beirut city center. These trips are essential promotional tools in highlighting Lebanon’s tourism investment potential internationally.
Tap into your adventurous spirit and join AWTTE 2007 to share in one of these highly praised tours of Lebanon’s striking landmarks.
Among the indispensable features of these trips is a visit to major participating hotels. AWTTE buyers are treated to a tour of each lavish hotel, and a sumptuous meal, and by the same token, hoteliers greatly value the chance to host AWTTE participants to promote their establishments to international colleagues and other interested parties.
The purpose of the Hotel Tours is to allow hotels the chance to present their products, rooms, banquet, meeting and other facilities to international tour operators.AWTTE offers an online scheduling service, which will allow exhibitors to schedule appointments with Hosted Buyers of their choice at a convenient time at least 3 weeks before the exhibition.
In the Middle East, people build relationships first then proceed to business. AWTTE helps participants get to know each other through social interactions during the Gala dinners and social functions held on the side of the exhibition. Executives meet at the opening ceremony and sign a contract before the FAM trip ends! Try it – it really works!
