After changes in the dates of the presidential elections in Lebanon, the organizers of the Arab World Travel and Tourism Exchange (AWTTE 2007) have decided to postpone the exhibition.

The new dates will be announced shortly.

As much resilient as the Lebanese tourism market has proved to be, we took this decision based on our keenness to show you the best of what Lebanon can offer both as a platform for regional tourism and one of the top tourism destinations.

Venture via Hospitality

The opportunity that AWTTE presents to the Arab tourism industry is to act as a hub of lively discussions and business ventures for trade professionals, allowing participants to gain insight into the latest industry trends and network with government officials on subjects that matter most to this vital sector.

Lebanon’s attraction as a microcosm of international business and sightseeing activities makes it an ideal setting for AWTTE, which was initiated by the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism in the last decade.

Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal took charge of AWTTE in the eighth edition, year 2003,with a new concept “Think Business, Think Tourism” which registered more than 1500 squared-meters and 40% international exhibitors and buyers. This year, AWTTE will reflect a new concept, “Venture Via Hospitality” offering you the marketplace to meet new partners from the Middle East.

Beirut International Exhibition & Leisure Center (BIEL)

AWTTE will be held at the Beirut International Exhibition & Leisure Center (BIEL), located in the city center. BIEL is close to Beirut Harbor and features over 80,000 square-meters of multi-functional facilities: exhibition halls, conference facilities, restaurants and parking.
