After the success of the first and second Qatar Economic Forums that were held in 2006 and 2007 under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, The Qatar Ministry of Business and Trade and Al-Iktissad Wal Aamal Group are organizing the third annual Qatar Economic Forum to be held on the 1 and 2 June, 2009 at the Sheraton Doha Hotel and Resort in Doha, Qatar.

The forum holds particular significance in view of the fast pace of economic growth and development in Qatar and will once again, be a unique opportunity to keep track of what is happening in Qatar's dynamic economy, and of the huge investment and business prospects that it offers. The forum will also be an ideal venue for meeting and networking with leading Qatari, Arab and foreign business, finance and investment leaders.

Some of the major topics to be discussed at the 3rd Qatar Economic Forum include:
