Under the Auspices of the President of the Republic of Yemen H.E. Ali Abdullah Saleh, the “Tourism and Real Estate Investment conference” will be held on 26 and 27 March 2008 in Al Mukkalla, Yemen.

The Conference is organized by Hadramout Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Tourism, General Investment Authority and Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group>

The Conference will be an effective Framework to mobilize Yemeni private sector investment, as well as Gulf and Arab investments in Yemen. It will also provide a platform for presenting the most important and promising investment opportunities in the tourism and real estate sectors.

The Tourism and Real Estate Investment Conference will be attended by a number of leading Yemeni and Arab officials, heads of companies and businessmen, and representatives of Arab, regional and international institutions.

The forum will focus on a number of important topics and issues, including:

• The current state of tourism and real estate investment in Yemen.
• The strategy for the development of tourism.
• Opportunities and prospects of investment in tourism and real estate projects.
• Real estate financing and ownership regulations.
• Leading international case studies in tourism development.

  The forum provides participants with the chance to meet and interact with Yemeni and Arab officials, and to develop a clear perspective on the tourism and real estate investment environment, in Yemen.
