Profile

Lebanon was never far from Al Iktissad Wal-Aamal’s activities since the Group was established in 1979. It has always been a core topic in the regular and special issues of Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Magazine and has always been present at Al Iktissad Wal-Aamal conferences, forums and meetings whether locally or abroad. Indeed, Lebanon has been represented actively and impressively at all these conferences and forums by government ministers, business leaders and economic organizations.

Over the last two decades, Al Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group has acted as a link between Lebanon and Arab investment flows, and has helped promote Lebanon’s economy, investment opportunities and tourism in the Arab countries in general, and the Gulf countries in particular.

The continuous development of the Group’s interest in Lebanon has inevitably found form in a special magazine that provides a detailed coverage of the sectors, activities and institutions that make up its economy. The decision was made to launch Al Iktissad Wal-Aamal Al Lubnaniah magazine that will be published on the 15th of each month.

Al Iktissad Wal-Aamal Al Lubnaniah has the ambition to meet all the business and economic needs of companies and sectors, and to provide added value by bridging the existing information gap. Its main characteristics and distinguishing features are:

  • Represents small, medium and large companies and institutions,
  • Follows up the activities of Lebanese businessmen and professionals working abroad, and reports on their successes,
  • Converses with chairmen and general managers, but also interacts with middle management,
  • Has access to the heart of companies and institutions to report on their experience and achievements.

Through its intention to cover most economic activities, Al Iktissad Wal-Aamal Al Lubnaniah will mainly include the following headings:

  • Financial sector (banks, financial institutions, financial markets, insurance).
  • Production sector (industry and agriculture).
  • Commercial sector (markets, exports, franchises).
